Within these pages we hope to include images and information on
animal behaviour
throughout the seasons.
Pauline has a smallholding and her own personal nature reserve and is on constant watch for wildlife.

Welcome to Thistledown Meadows.

What a glorious display Autumn gave us this year, we certainly were not disappointed. The majestic trees
draped in gold faced competition from the spectacular sunrises and sunsets. A glut of berries and fruit is
nature's way of providing for the extreme weather conditions we are already experiencing. The birds are
amassed at the feed stations and squirrels have practically moved in since we woke up to blankets of snow
and days and nights of freezing temperatures. There is a bonus though, frosty photos of a winter wonderland
reminiscent of Narnia, and the prospect of a white Christmas.
Wishing you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
